大山祇神社（おおやまづみじんじゃ）Oyamazumi shrine

こんにちは。Samです。前回からの続きです。しまなみ海道学習中です。
生口島の次には大三島（おおみしま）という島があります。ここからは愛媛県になります。
愛媛県に入ると、もう「レモン推し」ではなく「みかん推し」になります(笑)
それぞれの県に守備範囲が決まっているのでしょう。
さて、私個人としてはこの度のしまなみ探索で大山祇神社が一番良かったです。平日だったこともあり、静かで荘厳な雰囲気が味わえました。心が落ち着いたように思います。厳島神社のようなメジャーな神社ではありませんが、とにかくよかったです。
皆さんも、ちょっと足を延ばして大三島までドライブしてみてはいかがでしょうか。

Hello, this is Sam. Continuing from the previous post, I’m still exploring the Shimanami Kaido.
After Ikuchijima, there is an island called Oshima (Ōmishima). From here, we enter Ehime Prefecture. Once in Ehime, the emphasis shifts from lemons to mandarins! It seems each prefecture has its own designated specialty.
Personally, the highlight of my Shimanami exploration this time was Oyamazumi Shrine. Since it was a weekday, I was able to experience its serene and solemn atmosphere. It felt truly calming. While it may not be as well-known as Itsukushima Shrine, it was simply wonderful.
If you have the chance, why not take a drive to Ōmishima and experience it for yourself?
