ちょうど桜が満開ですね。春休みが終わってしまったので、すこし昼間の商店街の人通りが減りましたが、それでもまだお花見客らしき人たちが行き交っています。

さて、写真は西國寺というお寺の桜です。私はまだ尾道ビギナーなのでよく知らないのですが、なんでも地元の人たちによると「千光寺より西國寺の桜の方がきれい」なんだそうです。

もし今年の西國寺の桜を見逃した方は、来年ぜひ見に行ってみてください。かく言う私も西國寺の桜はまだ見たことがないので、時間ができれば今年の桜を見にいくつもりです。（写真は当ホテルオーナーから送ってもらいました）

次の雨で桜は散ってしまうかもしれませんね(>_<)

The cherry blossoms are in full bloom right now. Since spring break has ended, the daytime foot traffic in the shopping district has decreased a little, but you can still see people who seem to be enjoying the cherry blossoms.

The photo here shows the cherry blossoms at Saikokuji Temple. I'm still a beginner when it comes to Onomichi, so I don’t know much about it, but according to the locals, "The cherry blossoms at Saikokuji are even more beautiful than those at Senkoji."

If you missed the cherry blossoms at Saikokuji this year, be sure to visit next year! As for me, I haven't seen them yet either, so if I have time, I plan to go and check them out this year. (This photo was sent to me by the hotel owner.)
